How to create a Steam account

Walter runs games from your own Steam account and cannot create one for you, because Steam allows one person per account.

2 things to try

1. Go to store.steampowered.com and select Login in the top right, then Join Steam.
2. Enter an email address and your country, then tick the box and select Continue.
3. Open the mail from Steam and select the verification link in it.
4. Pick an account name and a password. The account name is what you sign in with and it cannot be changed later.
5. Select Done.
Note Steam will ask you to add a phone number. You can skip that for now.
1. Return to the Walter tab and go to Browse.
2. Press play on any title.
3. Steam appears on the stream after about twenty seconds. Sign in there with the account you just made, and tick Remember me so later sessions skip it.

Worth knowing An empty account is enough. Every title in the lineup today is free to play on Steam, so there is nothing to buy before you play.
